How can we help?

Most questions are answered below. Anything else — email hello@skedaddle.family and a real person will reply.

How do I sign in?
Parents sign in with an email link: enter your address at app.skedaddle.family and tap the link we send. There is no password. Links expire after 15 minutes — request a new one if you miss it.
How do kids sign in?
A parent sets a PIN for each kid (Family tab → the kid → Set PIN). On the sign-in screen the kid picks their name and enters the PIN. Kids never need an email address.
How do I sign in another device — the kitchen tablet, a second phone, the PC?
On a device that's already signed in: Settings → Pair a new device → Show a pairing code. On the new device, open app.skedaddle.family, tap "Have a pairing code?" and enter it. The code works once and expires in 5 minutes.
Setting up Wall Mode
Sign the tablet in (see pairing above), then open the menu → Wall Mode. It's read-only except for check-offs, so a guest can't change the calendar. Add photos in Wall Mode's settings for the idle screensaver, and set night dimming if the wall glows too much after dark.
Notifications aren't arriving
Settings → Notifications → turn on "Push on this device", then use "Send a test". Each device has to be turned on separately. On iPhone, notifications only work in the Skedaddle app (or the site added to your Home Screen), not in a Safari tab. Quiet hours skip reminders during the hours you set — they aren't delivered later.
The email link opens the wrong place / I'm not signed in
Open the link on the same device you want to use. On iPhone, tapping the link opens the Skedaddle app when it's installed; if it opens Safari instead, sign in from inside the app or use a pairing code.
Team, league and school calendars
Settings → Calendar feeds → Subscribe. Paste the feed link and pick whose column it belongs in. Where to find the link: TeamSnap (team → Schedule → Subscribe/Export → copy the iCal link), GameChanger (team → Schedule → Sync calendar), Heja (Calendar → Sync to your calendar), ParentSquare (Calendar → Subscribe), Bloomz (Calendar → Sync), Canvas (Calendar → Calendar Feed), Google Classroom (class calendar → Settings → Integrate → secret iCal address). Feeds refresh on their own every hour; tap Refresh to pull now.
Lists: prices and aisles
Lists marked as an H-E-B list suggest products with current prices and aisle locations as you type (Cross Creek Ranch store). Other lists group items by section without prices. Favorites keep the exact product you buy so re-adding is one tap.
Capture: flyers, emails and pasted text
Inbox → Capture. Photos and text are read for dates and events, then land in your Inbox for review — nothing goes on the calendar until you approve it. Every household also has a private forwarding address (Settings → Email to calendar) for school and team emails.
Delete my household and all of its data
Settings → Danger zone → Delete household. A parent types the household name (and the adult PIN if one is set). Everything — members, events, lists, photos, routines — is deleted immediately and every device is signed out.

Privacy. What we store and why is in the privacy policy. Short version: your family's data belongs to your household, we don't sell or share it, and you can delete all of it yourself.
